Sherry Ann Woolfolk joined the Quad Cities Community Foundation in the spring of 2019 as the vice president of finance. She brings deep experience in finance and accounting practices over four decades of professional experience—including overseeing and handling all accounting department functions, strategic planning, forecasting and grant and fund accounting. Most recently, she served as interim director of finance and operation at Young Women Leadership Charter School in Chicago, the only female public school in Chicago originally started with support from Oprah Winfrey and Chicago Public Schools. There, she provided critical operational support—including clean audits, collaborated with other members of the executive team, and worked closely with the board of directors supporting the finance committee. As a consultant for Robert Half Management Resources, she provided oversight of accounting operations for multiple companies. During an 11-year tenure with The Joyce Foundation, she helped to grow the organization from $250 million to over $850 million.
Sherry Ann is the mother of three grown children, and grandmother to several grandchildren. She has a bachelor of science in business administration from Chicago State University, an MBA from Roosevelt University, and a master of science in accounting from Benedictine University.
