Clean River
Over the next two years, a partnership of the Walton Family Foundation, Iman Consulting, and the Quad Cities Community Foundation will support inclusive community-based efforts to protect—and connect people to—our Mississippi River, centering people and communities of color and others that have been excluded in developing solutions to effect positive environmental change.
To do this:
Iman Consulting will convene a paid community advisory group to oversee the development of a clean river vision.
The Quad Cities Community Foundation will offer a grant program with $250,000 in available funding, co-created with the community advisory group and informed by broader community input, to be released within the first 6 months of 2023. Click here to learn about our first granted projects!
