Strategies for Private Foundations

The Community Foundation will host an in-depth conversation on trust-based philanthropy and grantmaking specifically designed for private foundation leaders. Community Foundation staff will share how trust-based philanthropy and practical grantmaking strategies are being applied locally through private foundations. The conversation will include:

  • An overview of trust-based philanthropy and why it matters

  • Practical grantmaking strategies

  • Testimonials from private foundation holders, including

  • An overview of private foundation conversion opportunities

  • Time for questions and discussion

No matter why you give, this session is designed to offer concrete insights and real-world examples to help you support the causes that matter to you in the most effective way possible. As a private foundation holder, you are invited to join peers for thoughtful dialogue, shared learning, and connection around the future of your philanthropy.
