Nearly half a million dollars available for Quad Cities nonprofits

Online info session June 13, applications due July 15

The Quad Cities Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2023 Operations and Program Grant program. This year, the Community Foundation will award over $486,000 to nonprofit organizations in the Quad Cities region.

Operations and Program Grants provide flexible and reliable funding for general operating support or program support for successful ongoing efforts. Nonprofits can apply for up to $20,000, requested as a one- or two-year grant.

The deadline to apply for Operations and Program Grants is July 15. The application is available now.

The Community Foundation will hold an online information session for interested organizations on Tuesday, June 13, from 12 to 1 p.m. While attendance is not required to apply, this will be a valuable opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the application process. A recording of the info session will be available on the Community Foundation’s website. Those interested in attending should email grantmaking specialist Kaleigh Trammell.

Operations and Program Grants are made possible by donor-created Field of Interest Funds and the Quad Cities Community Impact Fund. Each year, Operations and Program grants support nonprofits working in six key fields of interest: animals and the environment, arts and culture, community development, education, health, and youth development. To make the application process as accessible as possible, nonprofits may submit a single application to be considered for multiple funds.
