Community Foundation event will highlight women in philanthropy
The Quad Cities Community Foundation is welcoming award-winning author Lois Buntz to lead a workshop on the power of women in philanthropy. The free workshop will be held at the Community Foundation on Thursday, July 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
Lois Buntz
“We’re proud to welcome Lois Buntz back to the Community Foundation,” said Anne Calder, Community Foundation vice president of development. “She brings an inspiring perspective and powerful data that will energize giving and spark valuable conversation.”
Buntz will explore the unique motivations and patterns behind women’s giving and share strategies to deepen impact, engage other women donors, and align giving with personal values.
“Women have always been a force for good,” said Buntz. “They give more often, more generously, and with great purpose. It’s important to understand the data behind this trend and how we can support women doing good in philanthropy.”
Participants will come away with insights into emerging trends in women’s philanthropy, practical tools to engage and inspire women donors, and a renewed sense of purpose and clarity in their giving journey.
Attendees are invited to stay after the workshop for refreshments and networking. All are invited to connect, learn, and be inspired by the power of women in philanthropy.
