Geneseo Is For Tomorrow
Grants are issued annually to nonprofit organizations that have a tax exempt 501(c)(3) status. Last year GIFT proudly awarded over $160,000 in grants to support schools, hospitals, nursing homes and various organizations throughout our community. These funds were made available by donors who had the philanthropic passion to establish endowments for these purposes.
GIFT Grant Applications Process
GIFT, as a component fund of the Quad Cities Community Foundation, uses the Community Foundation’s online grant application system. Our online grant system allows applicants to complete, save and submit their grant applications and final reports in one place and have ongoing access to them. Applications will open September 17, 2019 and are due in the online application system by 11:59 pm on October 17, 2019. They are reviewed by the GIFT Advisory Board, and decisions will be announced by November 15, 2019. Grants are made one time per year.
A total grant pool of $4,300 is available this year. The maximum grant available will be $1,500. For questions about this grant opportunity, please contact Karen Mowers, Board Recording Secretary, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (309) 945-3971.
