High school and college students can now apply for scholarships from the Quad Cities Community Foundation

The Quad Cities Community Foundation is proud to announce that applications for 2018 scholarships are now available. Thirty-eight different scholarships will be awarded this spring, with some offering more than one award.

Two new scholarships are available this year, including the Quad Cities Mexican American Organization Scholarship and the Jayne Lee Andreesen Memorial Scholarship. All of the scholarships from the Community Foundation are made possible thanks to the generosity of donors in the region.

This year, the Community Foundation has implemented a streamlined application process. Rather than requiring applicants to read all of the scholarship criteria and self-identify which scholarships they are eligible for, students can now take an online quiz on the Community Foundation’s website which will tell students what scholarships they can apply for.

“This new process allows our students to apply for all the opportunities available to them easily and efficiently,” said Lisa Stachula, grantmaking specialist.
