The deadline for nonprofit grant applications has been extended to Wednesday, March 6th for those organizations interested in applying for a Teens for Tomorrow grant.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley serve at-risk youth ages 6-18 in Moline and Davenport after school and during the summer. Core programs help Club members achieve the priority areas of academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. In early 2013 their new initiative, the Teen Center, will open to serve teens ages 13-18.

This weekend's Iowa Illinois Regional Auto Show isn't just about showing off the newest cars, it's also helping out local college bound kids. Organizers with the Auto Show work with the Quad Cities Community Foundation to offer scholarships. Eligible recipients must have a parent working in the local auto industry.
