The Quad Cities Community Foundation works with donors to maintain the legacy of their land and property.

Less than two years after GVI’s launch and less than a year since the Transformation Grant award, the strategy is creating tangible change in Davenport.

The Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Giving Catalog connects donors with dozens of nonprofits in the region. Each organization featured in the catalog is seeking funding for a mission-expanding project.

Hills & Dales is expanding and bringing their unique model of care to the Quad Cities. And to support their permanent commitment to the region, they have opened an endowment fund at the Quad Cities Community Foundation.

The Community Foundation board of directors just voted unanimously to lower the threshold for opening a donor advised fund from $10,000 to $1,000.

Four months ago, disaster struck our community when the building at 324 Main Street in Davenport collapsed. Three lives were lost, and 67 households were displaced. For those who lost their homes, their family members, and their belongings, and for the nearby residents and businesses impacted, this disaster persists.

The Friends of the Foundation Fund supports the Community Foundation’s work and long-term vision for philanthropy in the Quad Cities.

Thirty-one local nonprofits are receiving $644,630 through the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Operations and Program Grants.

CRAC is now accepting applications for the 2023 QC River Connections Grants to support projects and organizations working to address environmental issues facing the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities area.

The newly formed Clean River Advisory Council (CRAC, pronounced “see-rack”) at the Community Foundation tackles environmental and social challenges collectively. CRAC includes 11 local environmental experts and community river enthusiasts.

John Anderson, CEO of Quad City Bank & Trust, is a Quad Citian, business leader, and philanthropist. Now, his decades of experience will bring a new perspective to the board of directors of the Quad Cities Community Foundation.

The Quad Cities Community Foundation presents “Estate Planning for Each Stage of Life,” a free presentation by Joyhni Hays on Thursday, September 21 at 5 p.m. Participants of all ages and points in life will learn valuable information about living wills, trusts, taxes, inheritance, digital planning, and much more.
